Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about dumpster rentals, junk removal, or cleanup services in North Florida? We’ve answered some of the most common questions below to help you plan your project, schedule service, and know what to expect before booking with Trash Help North Florida.

Service Areas and Contact

  • We operate across North Florida, focusing on North Central regions. Our primary service counties are Suwannee, Columbia, Baker, Union, Bradford, Alachua, and Gilchrist. This covers cities and communities such as Live Oak, Lake City, Gainesville, High Springs, Macclenny, Starke, and many others in those counties. If you’re unsure whether we service your location, just ask—our local routing often reaches surrounding areas as well.

  • Call (352) 448‑0809, email help@TrashHelpNorthFlorida.com, or use the free quote/contact form on our website (under “Contact”). Our staff monitors messages daily (7 AM–7 PM) and will promptly respond. The business address is 21302 S US Highway 441, High Springs FL 32024, but please call or email us for service rather than visiting in person

Dumpster Rentals

  • We offer 12 yard, 15 yard, 20 yard, and 30 yard roll-off dumpsters.
These sizes fit most project needs, from small home cleanouts to larger construction or renovation debris.

    Dumpster Size (cubic yards)Typical Uses
    12 Small cleanouts, yard waste
    15Moderate projects, renovation debris
    20Large home or construction projects
    30Major renovations or commercial sites

    • 12 yd & 15 yd dumpsters: Standard rental up to 7 days; 2 tons of disposal included.

    • 20 yd & 30 yd dumpsters: Standard rental up to 7 days; 3 tons included.

    • Longer rentals are available if needed.

    • Overage fees: Any weight over the included tonnage is billed at $95 per additional ton. Each extra day beyond the included rental period is $20 per day

  • Yes. If you fill a dumpster quickly, we can arrange a swap—we’ll bring an empty dumpster when we pick up the full one (subject to scheduling). This option is mentioned in our service summaries for busy job sites. Just let us know when you’re ready for the exchange.

    • Extended rental: We’re flexible. If you need a dumpster longer than the standard period (7 or 30 days), just tell us and we can extend the rental (fees may apply).

    • Extra days: Each day beyond the included rental period costs $20/day.

    • Additional weight: $95 per extra ton beyond the included allowance. Note that dumpsters must not be overloaded or filled above the sides. Overloaded bins (materials hanging out) will incur an extra $150 fee.

Junk Removal

  • Our full-service junk removal covers everything from start to finish. We do all the heavy lifting and hauling of unwanted items – from single items to full-property cleanouts – for residential and commercial clients. This includes furniture, appliances, yard waste, construction debris, and more. You don’t need to lift or load anything; just point to the items to discard.

  • We price junk removal by volume:

    ¼ truckload (4 cu yd) – $225 (minimum).

    ½ truckload (8 cu yd) – $395.

    ¾ truckload (12 cu yd) – $525.

    Full truckload (16 cu yd) – $695.

Each ¼ load includes 1,000 lbs of weight allowance. If your items weigh more, extra weight is charged at $42.50 per additional 1,000 lbs. Additional fees may apply if items are far (>50 ft) from the truck or require stairs/elevators.

  • Yes. Aside from weight and distance charges, we may charge for:

    • Access fees (if items are over 50 ft away or require stairs/elevators).

    • Payment fees: Credit card payments incur a 4% fee (cash/check have no surcharge).

    • Off-route fee: If your location is outside our standard area, a travel fee may apply.

Placement, Protection, and Permits

  • We’ll plan the placement carefully to avoid any issues. Common placement areas are driveways, cleared yards, or jobsite lots. To protect your property, you may lay down plywood or planks under the dumpster rails – this is recommended to prevent driveway scratches (Terms of Service suggests 4 sheets of 4×8' plywood for 12–20 yd bins).

TrashHelp is not liable for driveway, lawn, or surface damage unless negligence is proven. You are responsible for specifying where and how the dumpster should be placed. Make sure the placement area is flat and accessible; remove vehicles or obstacles beforehand.

  • Yes, if you plan to put the dumpster in public areas. For instance, placing a dumpster on a street or sidewalk typically requires a right-of-way permit (check local city/county rules). Some HOAs or municipalities also require approval or permits for dumpsters. It’s your responsibility to obtain any needed permits. We are happy to coordinate placement and timing, but be sure the dumpster placement complies with local regulations.

  • TrashHelp carries insurance, but you (the client) assume responsibility for the dumpster on-site. You must ensure the dumpster placement is legal and permitted. Our Terms of Service clarify that clients assume liability for any fines or damages if the dumpster is improperly placed. If you have special insurance questions, please ask us directly (not detailed on the site, so we will work with you).

Prohibited and Restricted Items

  • Hazardous materials are prohibited.
This includes (but is not limited to) paints, chemicals, fuels, asbestos, medical waste, batteries, and flammables. Specifically, we also mention no tires or chemicals. Any items requiring special disposal (old refrigerators, large batteries, etc.) should be handled separately. Appliances (like fridges or washers) are generally accepted by our junk removal crews – we haul standard appliances as part of junk-out services – but beware refrigerants which have their own rules.

    Heavy/concrete debris:
You can put concrete, dirt, brick, etc. in the dumpster, but be aware of the weight limit. These materials can add up to 8,000 lbs quickly. If you’re demolishing concrete or paving, mention this when you call so we can advise on size and weight. (The site doesn’t explicitly detail concrete rules, so clarify with us.)

If in doubt, contact us with the specific items you need to dispose of – we’ll let you know if any material is disallowed or needs special handling (this information is not exhaustively listed on the site).

Dumpster Delivery and Scheduling

  • We strive for fast service. Typically, once you schedule delivery, we can dispatch a truck to your location within 24 hours. Pickups work similarly: you call us when ready, and we’ll retrieve the dumpster (usually within 24 hours of your call).

For urgent needs, our grapple truck service can often be arranged the same day. Just contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.

  • Yes. TrashHelp’s business hours are 7 AM–7 PM, every day of the week. You can call or email at any time within those hours to schedule delivery or pickup. We’ll work with your project schedule to arrange convenient drop-off and pick-up times.

Who Can Benefit

  • For most home projects, a 12 or 15 yd dumpster is a good fit (allowing plenty of room for debris without overkill). This lets you load at your leisure. If you prefer not to haul debris yourself, our full-service junk removal (truck loads of junk hauled away) might be simpler for single-item removal or clutter. We serve many homeowners with garage cleanouts, renovations, yard debris, etc.

  • Contractors often need larger dumpsters (20 or 30 yd) for construction or renovation debris. We have a large inventory to support any job size and can swap out dumpsters quickly when full. Our scheduling is flexible to match your project timeline. For storm cleanup or land clearing, consider our grapple truck service for fast bulk removal.

  • Property managers, realtors, and commercial clients use TrashHelp for quick turnovers and cleanouts. Our junk removal crews can handle tenant move-outs or hoarder cleanups, hauling multiple units of furniture and trash. For ongoing renovation or tenant work, dumpster rentals provide a convenient dumping ground. We pride ourselves on clear communication and on-time service so that property turnovers run smoothly

  • When requesting a quote, the more details you provide, the better we can tailor our service. Checklist for a quick, accurate quote:

    • Project location: Exact address and placement area (driveway, street, etc.) – mention any access issues or tight turns.

    • Type of debris: Describe the material (renovation debris, household junk, yard waste, concrete, appliances, etc.).

    • Quantity: Estimate the volume or weight of what you need to dispose of (e.g. a full garage, a ton of concrete).

    • Desired timeline: Let us know your needed delivery date and how long you plan to keep the dumpster.

    • Photos (if possible): Pictures of the site or debris help us ensure the right equipment and pricing.

Providing these details up front helps us give you the correct size container and quote for your job. You can email the info or fill it in on our online form.
